I’m a senior parent too and plans have changed and continue to change but adjusting expectations and goals and taking a giant step back to get perspective can help reduce all the stress and anxiety.

In this workshop I will be using my 20+ years as a career educator and my mom hat to help you evaluate current plans and make a plan if there is no plan to at least make progress for what’s next.

Yes you are busy and you are stressed but living in a world of other seniors who think they have it all figured out and amongst adults constantly asking what the plan is can be maddening….so take 90 minutes to have a family conversation around all the options and ideas for “what’s next” you may not know exists.

* I hate school and don’t want to go to college or give me medical school or give me death

* I just want to work or I want a gap year

* I’m fine I don’t want to take this workshop or help, I’ll try anything

* I want my parents to help or hands off I’m almost 18

The world had changed and is continuing to, there is not one path there are millions. 

Workshop will be held via zoom.  Workshop is not recorded, I give a lot of info so bring the family to take notes.

Juniors may attend but the focus will be on seniors whose plans have changed, or they have no plans. Counselors can also attend to get tips and tricks for working with this population.
